SRC Inc. is currently seeking a Security Manager experienced as a SCI, SAP, and traditional Security Management Specialist. The selected candidate will support the 645th Aeronautical Systems Group in Dayton, OH.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a SCI, SAP, and traditional Security Management Specialist for the 645th Aeronautical Systems Group, Dayton, OH. Primary duties consist of assisting the 645 AESG Chief of Security and PMs in complex information security management tasks, data base management and secure facility management functions supporting the documentation, tracking, and oversight of Big Safari SCI security and individual SAP project security administration. Responsibilities include all necessary security functional support across the entire Big Safari portfolio.
What You'll Do
Support the 645 AESG Chief of Security in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Emergency Action Plans (EAP), Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), self-inspections, and all other documentation submissions, creation, maintenance, or modifications needed to effectively maintain 645 AESG SCIF/SAPF accreditations and security program compliance
Act as top-secret control officer (TSCO) or assistant (TSCA) and maintain a compliant top secret control account
Perform daily SCIF management activities to include end-of-day checks; secure room opening and closing responsibilities; monthly and as needed security form updates, collection, and records management; clearance/access validations for show-up/lookup and visits; modification security plan development, implementation, and closure; and FFC and Tempest form updates to include supporting documentation development, compilation, and submission
Retain qualification and perform SAP Nomination Process (SAPNP) eligibility determinations for SAPs
Prepare, coordinate and distribute SAP program access requests and consequent approvals. Preparation of SAP program access requests includes all predecessor tasks needed to establish eligibility. Update associated databases as needed for SAP billet management
Monitor, record, and report foreign travel notifications, approvals, and mitigations
Perform information security functions to include program access validations, processing, tracking and controlling, security management functions, coordinating and reporting
Perform resource management tasks to include administration and tracking of personnel actions, material and inventory items, office acquisition functions and squadron functions.These activities include tracking and reporting of security and resource database information, classified holdings accounting and inventory, processing of periodic inspections and associated documentation, coordination and maintaining communications among Big Safari personnel, front office and command section points of contact, and HQ security functions
Maintain security database files detailing status and access of cleared personnel and assist in the dissemination and verification of visit requests for all Big Safari programs
Prepare for, and participate in, security program self-assessments, staff assistance visits, higher echelon inspections, and periodic program status checks as directed by the 645 AESG Chief of Security
Support the 645 AESG Chief of Security in executing daily security management supporting the Big Safari program office. This includes program access management, clearance processing and coordination, security procedure management and security classification management and administration
