Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will offer support and technical assistance to customers and employees who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers.

Security Requirement-This position requires the ability to gain and maintain security clearance thus meeting eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
- Diagnosing system errors and other issues.
- Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and
resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
-Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
-Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software both internally and externally.
-Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
-Remotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problems.
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
- Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Maintain customer compliance within their specified industry.
- Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
- Develop and maintain knowledge management system for internal and external tracking.
- In coordination with the IT & Systems Lead, develop Service/Project proposals including materials, labor and pricing and submit in a timely manner to Senior Management.
- Partner with marketing to make services known to the community and look for opportunities to push out services QSI offers.
- Monitor breeches of internal compliance and recommend mitigation to resolve/address the issue(s).
- Develop or implement procedures, Database management, and Respond to user email enquiries tasks.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Computer Information Science or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience required.
- Work independently, complete tasks, and manage time autonomously.
- Fluent in computer systems, PC repair, and network management.
- CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+ Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
