Overview
As a Technical Consultant specialized in imagery and remote sensing, you
will work with a broad range of customers, supporting them on design and
implementation strategies using Esri technology best practices. You will be
part of a collaborative and innovative team in an environment that values
expertise, dedication, and a passion for geospatial technology. You will
impact the development and growth of our technology into new domains by
working closely with industry experts throughout the company, focusing on
the Remote Sensing and Imagery space.

Responsibilities
Be a thought leader. Help foster a sense of community among industry leaders.
Advise customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and
content to help them make better decisions. Recommend relevant strategies,
architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare
implementation and migration strategies.
Understand our customers and know their business. Be familiar with the mission
and operations of our customers including knowledge of common goals and
initiatives, procurement cycles, and business processes.
Enable our customers to be successful. Work closely with customers to
identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform.
Provide configuration guidance and best practices to customers and understand
how Esri's technology enables the customer's stated vision.
Develop and grow business. Collaborate with Esri's practice managers and
marketing and sales teams to support business development for technology and
implementation patterns with new and existing customers.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their geospatial and remote
sensing needs and provide guidance on the right Esri imagery technologies to
address their business challenges.
Design, implement, and configure imagery solutions for Esri clients
ensuring the highest quality of service.
Conduct diagnosis and performance tuning of customer existing imagery
workflows and solutions.
Requirements
5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating
enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform
(desktop, server, and online)
Hands-on experience working with or implementing imagery and remote sensing
software including satellite imagery, aerial photography, drone captured
imagery and LIDAR data management and analysis
Experience with working with LiDAR point cloud data
Proficiency in scripting using Python for geospatial analysis and management
Deep working experience in core Esri GIS software products: ArcGIS Pro and
ArcGIS Enterprise
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical
peers or non-technical project managers or customers
Self-motivated, a proactive problem solver, team-oriented, and creative
Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication,
multi-tasking, and presentation skills
Bachelor's in geography, computer science, GIS, remote sensing, or a
related field
Recommended Qualifications
Knowledge of and experience with software engineering and/or robust
application development principles and practices
Experience with ArcGIS, location-based services, geo-enabled apps,
spatial analytics, or similar geospatial technology
Experience with current technology implementation patterns including
service-oriented and cloud computing architecture
Professional experience in AI use in imagery and remote sensing
Practical experience in Esri imagery products
Master's in geography, computer science, business administration,
GIS, remote sensing, or a related field
