Position Overview
Conducts contract close-out activities and administration of government contracts. Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other applicable documents and regulations, system and guides to include the AFMC Contract Closeout Guide, DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), AF FAR Supplement (AFFARS), AFI 63-101 (Chapter 4), and the ConWrite Manual.
Responsibilities
* Provide contracting support services to include contract close-out and other acquisition phases on a secondary basis.
* Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other applicable documents and regulations, system and guides to include the AFMC Contract Closeout Guide, DoD FAR Supplement (DFARS), AF FAR Supplement (AFFARS), AFI 63-101 (Chapter 4), and the ConWrite Manual.
* Assist the contract close-out team to access, research, analyze, and utilize specialized data bases on a regular basis to assist with managing procurement tasks dealing with self-administered contracts.
* Provide coordination support for audits by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), and other governmental agencies such as Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS).
* Provide advice, recommendations, research, and analysis to support Government contracting officer's decisions regarding contractual issues found.
* Support the 645 AESG in all aspects of records management.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, an advanced degree without experience or equivalent work experience is typically required for an employee at this level.
1. Ability to be granted a SECRET security clearance
2. Experience in providing contract close-out support.
3. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Global Comp
$70,000 - $75,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
