Position Overview
As an Instrumentation & Equipment Technician , you will be the face of our company, providing installation, maintenance, and repair services for sampling, flow monitoring, and air drying equipment. This on-site, customer-facing role requires problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to exceptional service.
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair sampling, flow monitoring, and air drying equipment before issues arise.
Perform preventative maintenance and operational checks to ensure equipment reliability.
Respond to emergency service calls both during and outside normal business hours.
Program and troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls.
Resolve customer technical issues and provide expert on-site support.
Assist with start-up, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
Partner with sales representatives to grow service and aftermarket business.
Maintain detailed service reports and maintenance checklists for customers and internal teams.
Provide training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Travel locally to customer sites 100 percent of the time.
What You Need to Succeed
Technical Skills & Experience
Instrumentation expertise with strong troubleshooting abilities.
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable using computer systems and service software.
Soft Skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a service-based organization.
Refrigeration experience (a plus, but not required).
Willingness to be trained if lacking prior instrumentation experience.
Requirements
Mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on work.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass government background checks and drug screenings.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday
Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
