Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Rotation Director to join our team! In this role you will get to direct and manage service delivery and rotational training operations across the ARNG Combat Readiness Exercise (CRX) Program.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Rotation Director, under guidance from the PM, directs and manages service delivery and rotational training operations across the ARNG CRX.
- Directly supporting the Program Manager and ensuring delivery of services in line with contract and funding requirements, achieving high-quality deliverables for customers.
- Performing day-to-day management of overall contractor support of rotational training operations, including planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of all necessary functions to support Rotational Training Unit’s Combat Readiness Exercise.
- Organizing, directing, and coordinating planning and production of all contract support for rotational training operations.
- Serving as the lead for the scheduling and development of the Initial, Main, and Final Planning Conferences with Memorandums of Instruction (MOI) and Memorandums of Agreement (MOA).
- Developing and publishing the Exercise Directive, Exercise Rules of Engagement, collective training plan, training schedule, and evaluation criteria in accordance with the Title 32 Commander’s guidance, applicable Army regulations, and technical manuals.
- Developing the training scenario in accordance with the Title 32 Commander’s training objectives and producing lane books for all collective training in accordance with the Rotational Unit Commander’s guidance.
- Serving as the primary program liaison from ARNG to the training unit and corresponding Joint Forces Headquarters (JFHQ) during each rotational training cycle.
- Directing development and facilitating mid and post-rotational programmatic AARs and providing “lessons learned” recommendations for future training exercises.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical/business field.
- At least 10 years of related work experience.
- Broad general technical and previous project management experience on similar or related projects.
- Highly relevant experience and subject matter expertise in US Army Training Management and delivery/task orders such as Military Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVC-G) training methods and procedures; Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADDS); Combat Training Center (CTC) and ARNG combat readiness training, exercises, and operations.
- Capability to integrate, synchronize, and optimize training plans, schedules, and resources nationwide in support of rotational training units and JFHQs with training management, resource management, unit maintenance and logistical management, personnel and battle-roster management, ammunition requirements, and lanes development.
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of Government practices and regulations.
- Must be a former Battalion Commander and have brigade-level staff experience with either the US Army National Guard or United States Army training or maneuver brigade.
- Must possess highly relevant experience working with US Army National Guard (ARNG) or US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) Brigade Combat Teams.
- Must possess in-depth and current understanding of the missions, functions, and structure of the Army’s Infantry, Armor, and Stryker brigade combat teams; in-depth and current understanding of U.S. Army and joint operational doctrine; and in-depth and current understanding of relevant threat force doctrine and tactics.
- Must possess a current and active Secret Clearance or above.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Command and General Staff College Intermediate Level Education (ILE) (MEL4) and/or Senior Service College Graduate preferred.
