Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist the BIM Coordinator and Project Delivery Team with daily BIM activities.

• Create 3D/2D models for drawing preparation, clash reporting, and presentations, ensuring alignment with project LOD requirements and modeling standards.

• Extract 3D models for clash analysis, schedule reviews, and quantity surveying.

• Ensure model interfaces are coordinated with designers and engineers from other disciplines.

• Check all models, drawings, and deliverables to ensure compliance with project and company quality standards and BIM requirements.

• Prepare engineering drawings from models, including arrangements, layouts, profiles, and sections.

• Develop and extract 2D geometry from models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.

• Deliver Project Information Models (PIMs) in accordance with agreed TIDP, MIDP, and CDE protocols.

• Prepare BIM package submissions according to project standards and requirements.

• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs.

• Prepare models and reports for constructability analysis.

• Work with the lead technical engineer to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Minimum 4 years of Revit experience for degree holders and minimum 8 years for diploma holders.

• Experience in bridge and tunnel projects, with in-depth knowledge of current Revit versions.

• Skilled in CAD design 2D/3D (AutoCAD and Revit).

• Ability to set up new Revit project files for the team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.

• Ability to produce Revit Families according to project requirements.

• Maintain standards and library of Revit families/objects; run clash detection in Revit.

• Strong computer skills, experience in producing working drawings in Revit.

• Expert knowledge of Revit, including parametric use, generation of Bill of Material, assemblies, sub-assemblies, creation of families, etc.

• Advanced skills in creating federated models using Revit Links, working with Revit Worksets, and using shared coordinates.

• Proficient in BIM Authoring, Scripting, Design Review, Coordination, Simulations, and Collaboration Platforms.

• Essential experience in Revit Structure, Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM 360, and AutoCAD.

• Concrete and steel bridge and tunnel projects experience is required.

• Knowledge of BIM codes and standards, and general BIM model requirements.

• Ability to form effective relationships with the project delivery team, client, and contractor under time pressure.

• Ability to develop analytical reports and presentations.

• Proficiency in Dynamo, Projectwise, Synchro, Bluebeam Studio, Autodesk Inventor Professional, Sketchup, and 3D Max.
