Amentum is seeking a dynamic and innovative Intelligence Analyst to provide research, planning and analysis support to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

You will assist the USINDOPACOM J8 Resources and Requirements Directorate staff by coordinating with higher headquarters, Service Components, operational units, and DoD/Interagency stakeholders to provide intelligence support to Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAIs) across the command. You will also provide intelligence analysis during operational and exercise planning, and support experimentation of Joint warfighting capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
?Candidate shall identify asymmetric threats and vulnerabilities to U.S. interests in the area of responsibility (AOR) and assess and monitor the internal security situation in the AOR as it pertains to force protection.
Candidate shall write threat and vulnerability assessments, force protection threat assessments, and special force protection and terrorism reports.
Candidate shall incorporate all-source information to produce time-sensitive intelligence reports and finished intelligence products.
Candidate shall write counterintelligence (CI) investigations technical analysis, white papers, analytical information reports, conduct presentations and historical trend analysis.
Candidate shall prepare intelligence after action reports (AARs) in support of efforts aimed at developing a comprehensive intelligence training program to include instruction, exercises, and self-paced computer-based training (CBT).
Candidate shall develop and deliver specialized classes to train individuals, small teams, and units (to include those of partner nations) in the intelligence disciplines required to counter emerging threats. Topics for training may consist of virtually any intelligence-related task to include all-source analysis, link analysis, and pattern analysis to identify key vulnerabilities, including adversary capabilities, to mitigate identified CI, counterterrorism (CT), and Force Protection (FP) threats.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Graduation from a military command and staff college or equivalent.
At least 10 years of experience supporting the DoD in the intelligence career field, including at least 5 years of experience in military operations.
At least 3 years of experience working in military plans.
Knowledge of the Indo-Pacific region.
Experience conducting research on a range of topics and functional areas.
Experience in operational and/or strategic levels of DoD planning and/or execution.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient at authoring analytical and/or policy documents.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a military war college or equivalent.
10 or more years of experience in military plans.
5 years' experience working in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of USINDOPACOM policy and strategy and a thorough understanding of USINDOPACOM TCP/TCO, GCPs, CT EXORD, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Theater Security Cooperation Plans including linkages to parallel national interests.
Knowledge of U.S. national plans and policy (National Security Strategy (NSS), National Military Strategy (NMS), Unified Command Plan (UCP), Guidance for Employment of the Force (GEF), and Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP).
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing in order to provide information, articles, written reports, and presentations to include delivering executive summaries to flag and general officers (FO/GO) and Senior Executive Service (SES) level officials.
The salary range for this position is $150K to $165K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
