Our client, Battelle is a leader in engineering technology, and is seeking a Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technician
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $27.66hr max
What's the Job?
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical and electro-mechanical devices and systems, including instrumentation set-up and data collection.
Clearly communicate routine research procedures and results to team members and stakeholders.
Support the design of custom test fixtures and development of engineering test protocols.
Assist in the preparation of test reports and provide input for presentations to clients, suppliers, and management.
Procure components and fabricate electrical or electro-mechanical assemblies using appropriate industry standards and technical drawings.
What's Needed?
Must be a citizen eligible to receive a Security Clearance.
Associate degree in engineering technology or related field with at least 1 year of applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated ability to operate basic equipment and follow standard procedures.
Experience with integration and testing of electro-mechanical systems.
Familiarity with electrical enclosure builds, including chassis wiring and controls/automation.
