Job Description
Kearney & Company is currently seeking a Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS) expert to work with our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) team in Dayton, Ohio. The successful candidate will serve as a key member on the Procure-to-Pay team and interact with other Integrated Processing Teams (IPT's) in support of the development of the DEAMS. Additional duties include but are not limited to:
Serve as a key member on one of the Agile Framework SCRUM Teams supporting the DEAMS solution using unmodified commercial software
Oracle tester will reside on Scrum Team and be responsible for creating Test Scripts, preparing Test Data and executing Test Scripts of Oracle r12 EBS solution
Provide analysis and problem resolution for fixes to reported problems
Interact and communicate effectively with logistics and technology senior/middle management
Participate in DEAMS process improvement workshops identifying gaps, and providing solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes
Apply basic skills and experience in systems development, detailed knowledge of business processes, technical background and supervisory skills to implement business solutions
Support project teams Assist the SCRUM Master and Product Owner as required
Learn to write User Stores and decompose user stories into smaller, actionable Tasks
Have frequent (daily) communication with and demonstration of progress to the SCRUM Master
Qualifications
Four (4) years of Air Force Financial Management experience
Willing and able to travel in support of DEAMS as required
Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience working on a Scrum Team
Ability to make detailed recommendations on substantive organizational programs, and able to negotiate effectively with others to accept and implement recommendations
Thorough understanding of Air Force legacy processes and systems such as the Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS) and the Commanders' Resource Integration System (CRIS)

The expected salary range for this position is between $69,000 and $105,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
