Role Overview:
At PDS Tech Commercial, we're on a mission to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets in the high-stakes aviation industry. We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Specialist to support operations in Grand Prairie, Texas. In this crucial role, you'll oversee the protection of intellectual and physical assets, while also assisting in the management of security risks and driving key security initiatives across our organization.
Your Impact:
As a Security Specialist, you will play a vital role in mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and educating employees on the importance of maintaining a secure environment. Your expertise will help shape the way we approach security at every level-from physical controls to intellectual property protection.
Key Responsibilities:
Administering Security Programs (40%) :
Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to align with global and local policies.
Ensure document control and accuracy across security procedures.
Enforce security protocols and assist with administrative duties to streamline operations.
Risk Management & Compliance (30%) :
Lead debriefs with the security team on risk-related topics.
Conduct security investigations and produce written reports on violations.
Perform annual site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
Conduct risk assessments and maintain risk databases.
Training & Project Management (30%) :
Lead New Hire Orientation and security awareness training.
Manage corporate security projects and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in Security Management, Emergency Management, or related fields.
Basic understanding of security systems (access control, CCTV, etc.).
Proficiency in G-Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to effectively communicate in English (both verbal and written).
Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
2+ years in Security Management or Emergency Management.
Experience with systems like SiPass, Milestone, or Visitor Management Systems.

Pay Details: $19.23 to $30.00 per hour
