Counterintelligence Analyst - Mid
This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.
Cherokee Insights is seeking a Counterintelligence Analyst in the Analysis Division to provide mid-level CI analytical support to CI AD to identify, assess, and disrupt threats to cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The CI Analyst will facilitate USG responses to adversary action by sharing threat indicators and enabling responsive measures from other agencies and services.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000. Pay commensurate with experience.

Counterintelligence Analyst - Mid Responsibilities Include:
Provides analytic support to senior officials, collectors, and operators throughout the DoD, IC, and law enforcement agencies/organizations and for DCSA's CI programs, functions, and mission activities enabling the development and operationalization of an enterprise security risk management methodology across Government and industry stakeholders.
Conduct CI analysis to identify, assess, and disrupt threats to cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA.
Conduct CI analysis to identify and assess FIE threats related to assigned mission area to DCSA, the trusted workforce, and sensitive information and technology resident within cleared industry.
Monitor and inform on FIE threats identified in all-source raw message traffic substantively relevant to assigned mission areas.
Evaluate message traffic relevant to assigned mission area, and the IIRs cited in published analytic products.
Research, review, analyze, and process (check metadata, tag entities, and documents research) submitted cleared industry reports regarding FIE threats relevant to assigned mission areas.
Develop, support, and/or contribute to various AD efforts upon request or should analysis reveal emerging trends in FIE targeting, issues of strategic significance, and/or actionable information against FIE threats.

Contribute to the Director's Read-Book
Respond to Ad-Hoc tasking
Inform customers and stakeholders on FIE threats to cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA.
Collaborate with counterparts in assessing and processing submitted cleared industry reports and communicate with DCSA personnel if essential information is not included.
Communicate with customers and stakeholders, review feedback, and make necessary adjustments to improve upon existing processes and/or product lines benefitting CI's mission.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Counterintelligence Analyst - Mid Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Must have an active Top Secret / SCI level security clearance.
Desired to have a minimum 8 years of experience related to the CI Analyst role with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Preferred to have a Bachelor's degree
Graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent.
Ability to produce IC-coordinated all-source intelligence analytic products on foreign intelligence entities capabilities, intentions, willingness, and opportunities to threaten U.S. DoD personnel, resources, activities, and interests worldwide.
