Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Electrical/Hardware Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to analyze, test, and document embedded electronic systems and components.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Analyze and test embedded electronic systems and components, including microcontrollers and microcomputers, sensors, and communication interfaces.
- Provide support for analysis and testing of digital and analog components, microcontrollers, digital signal processors, and sensor components.
- Perform testing and validation of embedded systems and components.
- Create and review schematics and PCB layouts for embedded electronics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to embedded systems and components.
- Operate and maintain needed lab equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded systems into larger projects.
- Document analysis, test results, and technical specifications.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded electronics analysis, design, and testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces, and circuit analysis.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, specifically Altium.
- Strong documentation ability with Microsoft Word.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory and test equipment.
- Experience with digital forensic tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with software tools such as MATLAB and LabVIEW.
- Active TS/SCI
