Job Description:
Vaxcom Services, Inc (a Parsons company)is looking for an amazingly talented Armed Security Team Supervisor to join our team!
A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead a Team of Security Officers. Control access to facility by monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring all personnel entering the base have the proper identification.
- Responds to situations on base using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response by following established Use of Force Policy.
- Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents that may occur during day or night.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
- Maintains proficiency and safety in the use of all assigned equipment, control devices, and weapon systems.
- Attend 40 hours of In-Service Training annually.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Active or current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Looking for Supervisors who ideally would have at least 3+ year experience of leading and managing from 2 - 18 people, working with clients, scheduling and project management.
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Minimum of 21 years of age;
- Qualified candidates must possess college or university program certificate; OR two to four years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have at least two years’ experience in either Law Enforcement, Department of Corrections, Security or the United States Armed Forces.
- Must have minimum, at least one of the following:(a.) six (6) months experience in a State licensed security services occupation (armed/unarmed guard, control room operator, etc.), (b) be a current or former member (honorable discharge) of the United States Armed Forces(c)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required
