We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Systems Engineer II supporting one of our premier programs in the business unit. This role will utilize and grow your knowledge to define and derive requirements and perform system engineering analyses required for COTS networking, compute or storage equipment sizing, design, and deployment.
This is an onsite role based in Richardson, TX
What You Will Do:
Provide technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases
Decompose requirements, define external and internal system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team
Manage and maintain assigned documents in accordance with established systems engineering and configuration management procedures
Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program
Participate in system engineering artifact reviews
Support the team in preparation and conduct of program reviews
Complete assigned tasks to meet program schedule milestones

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas: operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis/synthesis, interface definition and control, and/or verification and validation
Experience with COTS networking, compute or storage equipment sizing, design and deployment
Experience using Virtualization (ESXi, VMware, Linux, etc.)
An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
Experience in technical baseline administration
Experience in systems engineering process development and deployment
Worked as part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Hardware, Integration and Verification teams
Experience with the design, development, testing and operational support of large-scale IT systems, to include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Storage as a Service (STaaS), and Database as a Service (DBaaS) elements
Platform migration experience and/or Private Cloud Service experience (e.g., AWS) for multi-tenant cloud-based ISP/ASP architectures
Experience with Service-Based frameworks for third party application development
Experience in development of test architecture/framework
Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements database
Experience with Jira / Confluence
Development experience on a government contract

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr.
