As an Imagery Analysis Instructor, you will be vital in preparing analysts with the critical knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced situations. Drawing from your real-world experience in imagery analysis, you'll provide advanced training in interpreting and analyzing both aerial and satellite imagery. You'll do more than just teach-you'll engage in hands-on exercises, guide impactful discussions, and provide immediate feedback to ensure analysts are prepared to make informed, decisive choices in the field. Your training will be grounded in real-world scenarios, with seminars, group exercises, and simulations designed to foster mission readiness. Collaboration is essential, and you will work alongside a team of instructors and subject matter experts to keep training materials aligned with the latest advancements in imagery analysis technology and operational needs. By sharing your expertise, you'll directly contribute to the National Geospatial Agency's (NGA) mission of ensuring imagery analysts are not only highly skilled but also prepared to address the unique challenges of their missions.
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance with the willingness to undergo a CI Polygraph exam
Master's degree in Geography, Intelligence, or a related discipline with at least 15 years of relevant experience
Or a Doctorate degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
A minimum of 4 years of instructional experience with a strong emphasis in GEOINT or GIS-related subjects
Experience in maintaining GEOINT databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy
Expertise in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) to develop, implement, and evaluate training programs to meet operational needs
Strong experience in using NTM sensors (EO, SAR, IR, MSI, etc.) to analyze data, gather intelligence, and provide insights that support mission objectives and national security
Proficient is using GEOINT software and tools (ArcGIS, RemoteView, SOCET GXP, etc.) to efficiently collect, process, analyze, and deliver geospatial intelligence
