Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a Sr. Project Coordinator to assist Project Managers, and the Logistics Team, in the management of complex technical security system projects.
Work Location: Alexandria, VA.
Security Clearance: The candidate must be a US citizen and have a minimum of a SECRET level clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to assist the PM in leading the logistics team to achieve various objectives.
- Ability to review advanced work and provide leadership to the PC team.
- Ability to take control of critical projects and complete them independently
- Ability to communicate well at a high level to the team and all stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple priorities.
- Ability to lead the annual inventory of high value assets.
- Ability to train others in the completion of their daily tasks.
- Ability to comprehend project plans and complex construction related schedules.
- Ability to review construction related bill of materials.
- Ability to perform data entry into CMMS.
- Ability to track and report on the status of material requisitions.
- Ability to track and report on the status of shipments.
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to monitor and report on construction project schedules.
- Ability to complete required reporting, presentations, and project documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use CMMS, ILMS, and MS Excel are required.
- Ability to ensure that all actions reflect the values of the team and are an example to the team of how to operate as PC.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Salary Range:
