ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our team in Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This is an onsite position.
Responsibili ti es include but are not limited to:
Maintain data files and control procedures for a system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation, or mainframe
Maintain system security and data integrity: manage accounts, network rights, assign passwords and monitor use of resources, backup files as required and work with management to define requests for information
Maintain processes and procedures, while adhering to established policies.
Configure and install systems hardware or software and maintain server and domain security requirements
Solve complex networking and administration issues and use critical thinking to support network functionality alongside Network Technicians
Plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and applications software and monitor new complex systems
Resolve hardware and software interface and interoperability problems and ensure systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency
Maintain systems configuration and manage the installation and integration of system fixes, upgrades, and enhancements
Perform feasibility studies on complex information systems and conduct in-depth analysis complicated by novel problems
Participate in Management meetings, discussions, committees, and special projects to understand key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish own work
No supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science or Information Technology
4+ years of systems or network administration experience, with Microsoft System Administration and/or Linux Administration
High school diploma or equivalent plus 6+ years of experience may be used in lieu of degree
Preferred Qualifica ti ons:
Software development experience
Technical Training or knowledge in commercial or government fuel terminal/pipeline operations or projects to include experience with IT/OT environments in ICS/SCADA systems for Automated Fuel Systems such as: Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE), Automated Tank Gauging (ATG), Independent Alarm System (IAS), Overfill Protection Equipment (OPE), Hydrant Fueling Automation Maintenance (HFAM) system., Hydrant Automation Monitoring System (HAMS), Electronic Leak Detection (ELD), or Automated Fuel Service Station (AFSS) equipment.
Experience in water movement or hydro operations would be considered in lieu of fuel experience
DoD 8570 IAT compliance certification, e.g., Security+ or CISSP
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship and an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain prior to starting the position
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
