Mission: As a Telecommunications System Engineer, you will be involved in configuration, troubleshooting, installation, or removals of systems. You will support configuration, troubleshooting of user profiles within the Skype for Business application and Active Directory. You will also be responsible for configuration of the Voice and Video Conferencing Systems and responding to security incident reports. You will also work with customer ticket in the Support IT ticketing system.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
- Good communication skills
- Must be a creative problem solver
Education and Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field AND 20 years related experience OR HS or GED AND 25 years' experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuration, troubleshooting, installation, or removals of Voice and Video endpoints.
- Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuration, troubleshooting of user profiles within the Skype for Business application and Active Directory
- Responsible for creation, modification, and remove of Voicemail user profiles on the Voice Infrastructure.
- Responsible for configuration of the Voice and Video Conferencing Systems
- Responsible for responding to security incident reports
- Works with customer ticket in the SupportIT ticketing system.
Travel:
- Less than 10% travel may occur.
