Description
The Senior Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining security certifications, ensuring data security, and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring security policies, managing vulnerability assessments, and supporting various cybersecurity initiatives to protect company and client data.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce information security and privacy policies in a cloud-first environment, ensuring compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.
Manage vulnerability assessments, including configuration of scans, tracking issues, and producing monthly reports.
Continuously improve security monitoring and response capabilities, especially in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring data sharing and resource prioritization are handled properly.
Perform security testing to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities in systems that impact data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and policies for the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Participate in industry communities and stay current on new cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Monitor security infrastructure for potential threats and assist with incident response when necessary.
Assist with client security audits, evidence preparation, and remediation of security issues.
Support security measures within the system development lifecycle, change management, and user administration processes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in information security, compliance, and IT roles with increasing responsibility.
Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CompTIA Security+) preferred.
Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and other security frameworks.
Strong knowledge of cloud security, especially in platforms like Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
Familiarity with security tools, network protocols, and endpoint protection technologies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and report findings clearly.
Experience in incident response, penetration testing, and security risk assessments.
Familiarity with cloud service technologies, DevSecOps, and application vulnerability management.
Preferred Skills:
Security experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
Familiarity with security tools like Microsoft Office 365 security tools, PowerShell, and Python.
Experience with endpoint protection software and threat intelligence.
