Nightwing is looking for a new Senior Level Proposal Manager to lead the preparation of compliant, compelling proposals of varying size and complexity, classified and unclassified. In this position, you work with multiple departments throughout our company, from marketing to graphic design, to draft and prepare project proposals for presentation to upper-management and other stakeholders. You will also respond to RFPs from outside parties. You are responsible for drafting, editing, and proofreading the proposal to ensure it is in compliance with all internal regulations and RFP requirements. Our preferred candidate has a bachelor's degree in a business field and at least 10 years of proposal writing and management experience. Proposal Manager Duties and Responsibilities Ensure the completion of RFPs Lead the development and writing of proposals Research and gather information to support proposal content Work with subject matter experts to understand project goals and objectives Create detailed, concise proposal schedules and timelines Assign taskings to ensure timely, compliant proposal submission Create overall and volume level compliance matrices Edit and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency Develop and maintain proposal templates and guidelines Track and report on proposal submissions and outcomes Supervise the solutioning and writing teams Draft and edit proposals Collaborate with other department members to finalize proposals Proposal Manager Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a business field Must have at least 10 years serving as a Proposal Manager; 5 of which leading and winning key Single Sales Objective (SSO) Must be able to step in and support volume writers with content creation Experience with database and collaboration software, such as SharePoint Management and leadership skills are critical in this position Experience in a leadership role, preferably in support of a government contract Knowledge of industry-specific requirements and standards Incorporate Shipley methodologies in Proposal Management process Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects Experience as a Proposal Manager in leading teams in response to Federal Government RFPs TS/SCI Clearance Desired: APMP Certification Experience using SalesForce Experience leading RFI, RFQ, RFP responses for multiple government agencies (DoD, NASA, IC, FedCiv, SLG, etc.) Clearance with Polygraph At Nightwing, we value collaboration and teamwork.
