Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking a Systems/Test Engineer to provide resources with knowledge and experience in systems security engineering to include design and application of supply chain risk management, IA, anti-tamper, and platform IA. Knowledge shall include design and implementation of encryption technology with implementation of DoDI 8500.02, Joint AF National Nuclear Security Administration 6/3 requirements for security system engineering support for program certification, and accreditation efforts. Provide support in application and execution of the following systems engineering technical and technical management processes: requirements definition and analysis, digital engineering, architecture design, implementation, integration, V&V, transition, decision analysis, technical planning, technical assessment, requirements management, risk management, configuration management, technical data management, and interface management.
Responsibilities:
This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience, to include the below duties:
Oversee/manage cybersecurity requirements and their verification plans.
Support anti-tamper and key management planning, requirements and verification plans.
Utilize anti-tamper expertise to provide recommendations on risk assessment and verification testing.
Support as needed for "quantum resistant" data encryption planning / implementation.
Experience in DoD systems acquisition processes and policies.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree (e.g., physics, cybersecurity). 6 years' relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Must have at least 3 years of experience (in addition to degree or work experience) in systems engineering with working knowledge in cybersecurity, software or digital systems. This should include the following expertise and knowledge:
Development, derivation, tracing and tracking system requirements
Technical management in leading test planning and requirements verification activities
Experience in DoD systems acquisition processes and policies
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active TOP SECRET DoD security clearance.
Must be familiar with Military Standards related to automated test equipment.
Must be familiar with DoD Acquisition processes or project management professional principles.
Preferred Skills:
Weapon system experience (e.g., munitions, aircraft, mission planning, maintenance systems, etc.)
