Job Description:
Assistant Resident Engineer - Bridges/Structures
Abu Dhabi, UAE
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the review and approval of designs, shop drawings, and construction procedures for structural elements such as bridges, piles, underpasses, girders, MSE walls, and roadworks.
Ensure compliance with ADQCC and ADM standards, project specifications, and engineering best practices.
Conduct site inspections, monitor material deliveries, and oversee subcontractor performance to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges and maintain project progress.
Provide technical guidance, prepare progress reports, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Evaluate and approve method statements, material submissions, and construction techniques to support successful project execution.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
At least 12 years of experience in field construction on large civil/structural projects. ( At least 8 years experience working in the UAE)Proven expertise in DMT structure projects and familiarity with ADQCC and ADM standards.
Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools.
Strong knowledge of structural analysis, construction processes, and industry standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to relocate to construction site locations as needed.
