Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented fully cleared (TS/SCI) System Administrator to join our team! This immediate opening is positioned in some of the most sought-after work in this development and engineering community. In this role you will get to support a team of cybersecurity engineers and analysts as a one-stop-shop for Windows and Linux systems administration.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support and maintain Linux and Windows systems.
Create, support, and manage virtual machines.
Manage all IAVA patches ensuring multiple SSPs remain STE/STN compliant. Work in close coordination with ISSO.
Manage installation and configuration of software environments.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Poly
Minimum seven (7) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Must have background supporting both Linux and Windows OS.
Experience with software installation and configuration.
Understanding of applying patches to systems and maintaining STE/STN compliance on SSPs.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Additional relevant SA experience may be substituted for a degree.

Salary Range:
