Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an experienced Journeyman Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in the development and modernization of fielded programs of record currently utilized by U.S. Navy Sailors. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with three days onsite at the customer location and two days offsite at an office or telework.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting project leadership as an engineer interfacing with developers for the Nulka and SKCS programs in the lab.
Utilizing program tools to link and track requirements from higher-level system specifications through implementation, testing, and certification.
Acting as a liaison between system development teams and government leadership, preparing reports and presentations that summarize progress on the development and testing of requirements across multiple incremental deliverables.
Conducting systems analysis and performance studies based on requirements reviews and stakeholder feedback.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
An active Secret Clearance with the ability to maintain it
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a STEM field, or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline related to the area of specialty.
5+ years or more of Systems Engineering experience
Experience mapping requirements to tests and applicable artifacts using tools such as Jira, DOORS, Confluence, etc.

Salary Range:
