JMT Technology Group, a leading geospatial and information technology solutions provider, is looking for a Part-Time, as needed Cloud Systems Administrator. The Cloud Systems Administrator will be r esponsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of cloud systems and software and related infrastructure. Configures and maintains and supports cloud system environments for software applications. Ensures that system configuration, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to client needs.
The annualized salary for this position is $10,000.00 - $80,000.00, commensurate with experience, education and certifications.
Essential functions and responsibilities
Maintain and administer Azure and AWS environments, including setup, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis
Perform typical system administrative activities such as user account creation, email account creation, telephone provisioning, backup, restore and issue resolution
Perform software installation including local desktop installation, server installation, LAN/WAN deployments
Maintain current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures for?cloud computing environments
Coordinate the testing and implementation of all changes, repairs and upgrades
Provide end user support and troubleshooting
Nonessential functions and responsibilities
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required SkillsRequired Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent experience
6+ years of direct cloud system administration experience
Preferred Experience
Experience with Azure and AWS environments including configuration, networking, monitoring and support
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
