Job Summary/Objective:
The Integration Help Desk Technician will support the U.S. Army Customer Interface/Policy- Communications Security Logistics Activity (CIP-CSLA) program. This position enhances the Tier 2 Help Desk support in managing COMSEC material, Information Security (INFOSEC), the Army Key Management Structure (AKMS), and the Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) / Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) transition in field units & supported Services/Agencies.
Duties Responsibilities:
- Prepare and validate KMI accounts for transition or upgrade using pre-transition/upgrade checklist.
- During the preparation phase for KMI transition upgrades, or tech refresh assist the EKMS/KMI Tier 2 Help Desk with troubleshooting efforts.
- Transition/Upgrade accounts to the mandated software baseline IAW NSA guidance.
- Verify that "after any transition/upgrade or tech refresh " all action items have been completed by the Army COMSEC account.
- Establish New Product Requirement
- Manage Account Distribution Profile (ADP)
- Configure, Install, and troubleshoot KG-250
- During an EKMS accounts' conversion to KMI, the Contractor shall assist the EKMS/KMI Tier 2 Help Desk with EKMS and KMI trouble calls from the CAM until the transition is complete
- Assist with implementing validated software and hardware changes to the AKMS and KMI platforms as requested by authorized Government staff (1-3 changes per year)
- Assist with the documentation and customer support to coordinate and facilitate fielding and transition to the operational software and hardware in the context of the overall program using SharePoint, Excel and other data systems
- Assist the Government in collecting Army-wide data calls using both telephonic and other means to obtain required data as needed
- Assist the Government in the development of spreadsheets for automated data management of the program
- Provide first-level problem-solving to all users during the fielding process until a resolution is provided. Elevate to the next level if no resolution is obtainable
- Perform telephonic installation and replacement of outdated hardware i. e. Inline Network Encryptor (INE) and KMI Workstations as required
- Assist the Government with shipping hardware/software that relates to the EKMS/KMI platforms
- Analyze the KMI prep software database status report for anomalies and contact the COMSEC account regarding their status
- Guide the COMSEC Account Manager (CAM) through assembling & configuring the KMI Client Node and the execution of all required data conversion scripts; ensure the transition was fully successful prior to terminating the transition call
- Use the Hewlett Packard Service Manager (HPSM) as required
- Collect and manage data regarding the Army KMI Client Node software upgrades to ensure all accounts are using the correct software version
- Attain and maintain A KMI certification via the local OJT program as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Other DOD 8570.1M certifications (Level II or III certifications also qualify for Level I certifications)
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Technicians will have a general knowledge of COMSEC policy/procedures, EKMS/KMI operations as outlined in AR 380-40 and TB 380-41, and general knowledge of computers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Security Clearance: DoD SECRET Level Clearance Required
Travel Required: Approximately 10%

Support Hours: The contractor shall provide services between the hours of 0700-1630 on Monday through Friday except on recognized US holidays or when the Government facility/installation is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility/installation closings.
