Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the projects programs. Developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, planning and schedule management processes. Involve in reviewing and approving contractor's schedules. Performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting to effectively manage the scope, risks, and interdependencies with of the whole program.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the planning and scheduling activities of multiple programs, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholders' expectations
- Develop comprehensive project plans with clear timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies
- Establish and maintain project schedules, tracking progress, and resolving any deviations or delays
- Collaborate closely with project teams to identify critical paths and potential bottlenecks, implementing effective strategies for risk mitigation
- Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on the status of projects and identifying any required adjustments
- Evaluate project performance and recommend improvements in planning and scheduling processes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to planning team members, fostering their development and ensuring their adherence to best practices
- Support the development of accurate cost and resource forecasts, facilitating effective budget management
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in/or postgraduate qualification in Engineering.
- 17+ years' related planning/scheduling within construction delivery experience - ideally PMOs or PMCs.
- A track record of implementing planning and schedule management and governance on large and complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrable evidence of deploying planning and scheduling processes, systems, tools & techniques to maintain and analyze cost and resource loaded schedules.
- Expert user of a range of planning, particularly Primavera P6.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully working in a matrix and integrated team on major infrastructure & real-estate projects.
- Good understanding of Progress measurement and Earned Value Management Analysis, it's use and implementation.
- Current KSA/Middle East experience. Leverage in-depth knowledge of enterprise-level management software, such as P6, MS office 365 - preferred skills include Power BI.
- Real-estate projects Experience will be preferred
- Proficient and accurate in all aspects of work.
- Able to communicate at all levels internally and externally in a professional manner.
