Nightwing is seeking a Junior Events Coordinator to manage a portfolio of internal events and support community relations events, external sponsorships and Capitol Hill engagements. This position will support the Events Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing events. Responsibilities: Plan and execute a variety of events including employee engagement, community outreach, and Capitol Hill engagements. Provide logistical support for events led by the Events Manager, including venue coordination, transportation, and catering. Develop and maintain event timelines, task lists, and budgets as needed. Understand and navigate Capitol Hill protocols for events, including liaising with legislative offices, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing guest logistics. Oversee the company’s inventory of event merchandise, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely procurement. Plan and support internal events such as leadership dinners, site events, and company-wide events. Manage portfolio’s budget in collaboration with Events Manager. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality events that meet business objectives. Other duties or special projects as assigned. Requirements and Skills: Minimum of 4 years of experience in event management, with experience in Capitol Hill engagements strongly preferred. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to accomplish projects independently. Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism. Experience in communication and/or marketing. Team player who is able to work across communication team and other business functions. Education: BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communication or relevant field.
