G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2SS) is seeking a self-directed and motivated Information Assurance Analyst - Cybersecurity to support a dynamic US Marine Corps software development team. As an Information Assurance Analyst - Cybersecurity at G2SS, you will be a critical player in safeguarding the systems supporting vital Marine Corps operations. Your expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and DoD certification efforts will help secure software systems, making a meaningful impact on national defense.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Support DoD certification and accreditation (CandA) processes, including the current Risk Management Framework (RMF), to ensure proper system cybersecurity configuration management.
Coordinate, review, and track documentation for approvals, such as Authority to Operate (ATO), Interim Authority to Testing (IATT), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and more.
Work closely with control boards, DoD Services, and agencies to seek formal approvals for cybersecurity initiatives.
Analyze the impact, cost, and technical implementation of cybersecurity measures and certification efforts.
Potentially serve as a properly appointed Marine Corps Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
Familiarity with the Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST) is desired, though not required.
What Youll Need:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related engineering or science discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in DoD cybersecurity analysis, including expertise in RMF processes and cybersecurity configuration management.
At least five (5) years of experience coordinating and reviewing documentation for cybersecurity approvals.
Strong knowledge of Navy RMF Rapid Assess and Incorporate (AandI) Software Engineering (RAISE) process is preferred.
U.S. Citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST).
Strong understanding of Over-the-Air broadcast approvals and cybersecurity testing.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility.
Location:
This is a full-time hybrid position based in San Diego, CA. Youll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while also engaging with the team in person at the client office as needed based on workload. Remote work options will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Travel
