Description
The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Cybersecurity Technical Intern to work in our Reston, VA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the DISA Information Systems Agency and/or Navy’s stated or emerging technology mission goals. In this role, the intern will support the Business Area Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in executing Leidos Technology strategy and support the alignment of corporate technology capabilities to customer goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
The employee will support development of technology research, white papers or PowerPoint technical briefings in areas relating to IT & Computer Science and Cybersecurity, Data Analytics or similar topics.
Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent writing, verbal communication skills, and briefing development using Microsoft Office tools
• Understands how to structure, research, and write technical white papers and technical briefings.
• Intern must be a student enrolled full-time pursuing an accredited degree seeking program at the Junior/Senior level in cybersecurity, computer science, data science, or related degree program.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understands many aspects of technology, including cloud capabilities, their practical application, and the broader work functions.
• Understands how to create business cases to seek investments for research work and pilot implementations
• Technical, hands-on knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud capabilitiesProficient in Python

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
