Summary The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence. Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities: The National Intelligence Council (NIC) consists of the most senior intelligence analysts supporting the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) in carrying out responsibilities as the head of the Intelligence Community (IC) and as the principal adviser to the President for intelligence matters related to national security. The NIC produces a variety of all-source, IC coordinated intelligence reports, including its flagship product, the National Intelligence Estimate, which represents the Intelligence Community's most authoritative statement on a key national security issue. Prepare strategic analyses on issues of importance to US interests on election security and foreign malign influence. Draft analytic assessments on election security and foreign influence-related issues posed by US adversaries, including but not limited to, Memos, Strategic Updates, and Congressional Directed Actions. Coordinate on behalf of the NIC on election and foreign influence products produced by individual agencies. Refine analytic priorities based on policymaker and senior NIC and IC leadership into conceptualized products. Identify collection gaps and recommend strategies to address those gaps, including via NIC-led IC Community of Interest discussions. Support outreach plans by organizing, participating, and formulating outreach events. Ensure outreach insights are reflected in NIC products, as appropriate. Use outreach to build your expertise and analytic skills, including your ability to consider alternatives. Maintain communications across NIC, ensures reporting is being shared with stakeholders. Coordinates drafting of talking points, testimony, and other written products and ensures proper coordination. Provide analytic support to Election Threat Executive and Foreign Malign Influence Center. Brief senior officials and Congress as needed. Support Strategic Communications projects by deriving information from analytic community. Build and leverage diverse collaborative networks within the ODNI and across the IC. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a current permanent ODNI employee. OR Must be a current permanent Federal employee Must have supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: Thorough analytic and critical thinking skills, including superior ability to think strategically and produce sophisticated strategic and warning analysis that cuts across multiple regional and/or functional issues. Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills and proven ability to operate in an interagency team. Thorough communications skills, including ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of leadership, including the ability to give effective briefings on complex topics. Thorough critical thinking and writing skills, including the ability to produce first drafts that require minimal editing, are concise, logical, and clearly organized. Ability to demonstrate success producing complex, long-form analytic products. Creative problem-solving skills and initiative in carrying out mission responsibilities. Bachelor's Degree Desired Requirements: Experience producing all-source analysis in at least one election-related discipline (cyber, counterintelligence, country-specific intent/capabilities).
