Cloud Engineer
Key Role:
Manages, administers, supports, and enhances cloud environments,
ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Applies advanced
consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge.
Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable
direction, mentors and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with AWS
5+ years of experience with programming languages, including JavaScript or
HTML
Experience maintaining applications within Cloud infrastructure
Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud architectures, containerization and
security solutions
Experience with AWS or Azure IaaS and PaaS, and AWS or Azure Cloud-native
technologies and best practices
Experience with Cloud Development, migration, and implementation and Azure CLI
Experience with DoD Impact Level 5 Cloud environments
Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS,
and FedRAMP
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with DevOps tools, including GitHub
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with systems administration in Windows and Linux
Experience working with scripting languages, including PowerShell or Bash
Experience with Kubernetes or AWS or Azure solutions for containers
Experience with DevOps methods and practices
Knowledge of DoD STIGs or NISTs
AWS or Azure Certificate Path Certification, including Solutions
Architect, Cloud Security Engineer, or Network Engineer Certification
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
AWS Cloud Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not
limited to location, the individual's particular combination of
education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well
as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The
projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to
$220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz
Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close
