D2 Government Solutions (D2GS) is seeking a highly motivated and organized Entry-Level Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. This individual will provide administrative support to the HR department, assist in employee onboarding, and help ensure that our HR practices align with legal and regulatory requirements, including those specific to government contracts and the Department of Defense.
Responsibilities:
Assist in recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Coordinate new employee onboarding, including background checks, orientation, and required training.
Maintain employee records and update HR databases with accurate and up-to-date information.
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company benefits.
Assist in preparing and processing employee documentation, such as offer letters, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports, maintaining files, and responding to employee inquiries.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and DoD regulations.
Support compliance efforts related to EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and other applicable employment laws and regulations.
Help coordinate company events, employee engagement initiatives, and training programs
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities with minimal oversight.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Familiarity with ADP and other HR-related software is a plus.
A strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
Knowledge or willingness to learn about government contracting and compliance with DoD regulations is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (preferred but not required).
