Company is seeking Full-Time, Computer Programmer, Journey person to join our team at NAWCTSD in Orlando, FL. NAWCTSD is the Navys principal center for modeling, simulation and training systems technologies. The computer programmer will work with a team in a lab environment to develop state of the art, software driven training systems. The Computer Programmer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Essential Job Duties:
Code, test and debug web page/application enhancements and revisions for the internal and external website along with integrating graphics and user interfaces.
Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run.
Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals.
May assist software developers by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions.
May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
Compliance with Naval Cyber Security Rules and Regulations.
Compliance with Naval software development and maintenance Rules and Regulations.
Compliance with Naval Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements and regulations.

Experience Requirements:
3 or more years of experience with computer programming, UI, data structures, frameworks, and operating systems and platforms.
Experience: MVC (model view controller pattern).
AZURE Dev Ops.
Experience with SQL Developer in Stored Procedures, Scripting and Database Design.
Knowledge of programing languages to include but not limited to C#, MS SQL 2019 and greater, Java Script, NET Framework 4.7.2; ASP. NET code base MVC.
Must have experience with Telerik DevCraft.
Experience working with other developers in collaborative efforts. This could include academic, professional, or personal projects/experience.
Experience working with an interdisciplinary team is preferred.
Experience with general programming tasks at a Journey person level, such as designing, implementing, and debugging software.
Ability to communicate with clarity and correct grammar and mechanics.
Education and Certification Requirements:
B.S. in computer engineering, computer science or related technical field with emphasis on software programming.
Certification in one or more of the following: Telerik DevCraft, SQL Server 2019 or later, Visual Studio Enterprise Addition 2022 or later.
DoD Approved 8140 (DoDD 8570) Baseline Security Certifications.
Security Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
