Position Summary, Junior Management Analyst
Innovative Professional Solutions, Inc. We are looking for an organized, proactive, and motivated Junior Management Analyst who enjoys working with a team of expert engineers, logisticians, software developers, and network technicians. The person who fills this Junior Management Analyst position will: provide support during several weekly technical meetings locally as well as a few that take place each year in the Washington, D.C., area; develop briefing material that contains project status, schedule, roadmap, strategies, and more; draft meeting minutes, action items, and other administrative documentation; maintain the projects schedule; and track and maintain the projects inventory. This is a wonderful opportunity to support an exciting U.S. Navy program.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
Maintain the project schedule using Microsoft Project.
Support technical meetings, some of which are high-visibility meetings. (In person and via Teams)
Coordinate meeting resources.
Prepare draft meeting minutes and action items.
Provide general administrative support to the government Project Manager and team.
Interact with program sponsor organization and various government team leads.
Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:
High school diploma.
Eligible to obtain and maintain a Security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
An active Secret clearance.
Experience serving in, or providing support to, the military.
Strong Microsoft skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Ability to be organized to keep up with dynamic program.
A robust aptitude for basic writing, grammar, and math.
Travel:
This position may require travel to the Washington, D.C., area a few times a year for a week or less each time.
Tools and Technology:
Most work will be conducted on a computer provided by Innovative Professional Solutions (IPS).
Various web-based tools will be used.
MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams.
Working Conditions/Environment:

Work will primarily be conducted at IPS. Some meetings will be supported in person at NSWC PCD and in the Washington, D.C. area.

Some tasks may include reaching, lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, squatting, kneeling, and walking.
