Position Overview:
Software Engineer responsible for developing the next generation collective training software systems. This includes development of software simulations of vehicle systems, integration of game engine technologies, and web development of support applications for training systems. Development can either leverage C, C++, or Java for the simulation components and WebGL, the REST API, and other web technologies for the support applications. Software will be developed in an Agile DEVSECOPS development environment.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Five (5) years' experience designing and developing software modules for integration into large-scale simulation systems, constructive simulation technologies and methodologies, along with hardware interfaces for virtual synthetic environments. Requires competence in software analysis and design, performance analysis, configuration, and code management. Must have experience adhering to robust technical specifications and working both independently and as a member of a software development team. Must be familiar with industry software development standards and with the capabilities of related Department of Defense software systems. Experience with simulation system software like CCTT, OneSAF, VBS, and Unity is a plus. Agile development experience in a DEVSECOPS environment is an advantage.
Minimum Education :
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, or software engineering from an accredited college or university.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance:
In accordance with the specifications of a government contract, eligibility for this position mandates U.S. Citizenship status and a Secret security clearance. The precise security clearance requisites will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.
