Description
This customer-facing team member will help ensure the physical, network and personnel security of a cutting-edge technology program while embedded within a high-performing government-contractor team. The ASR will interface directly with the supported customer and external partners to facilitate the approval of new physical space, networks, and cleared personnel in support of the program.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills and have a track record as an effective problem solver who can develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with multiple internal and external security stakeholders. The ASR should display a successful history of previous work on relevant security programs, have knowledge of DoD security approval processes, and display an appropriate balance between administrative, management, and technical skills.
This team-member will be closely integrated with other team members in a common, secured physical environment. Hybrid-On-site support is required.
Responsibilities:
Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment, take broad direction on multiple tasks and work collaboratively alongside Air Force personnel and multiple industry partners.
Draft/edit documents and facilitate physical security approvals for new secure facilities.
Maintain/initiate personnel security records and clearances, to include the use of JADE, DISS, SWFT etc.
Provide support to cyber-security team(s) to facilitate approvals for Authorities to Operate.
In collaboration with the government client assist third-party partners with the above activities and ensure documentation/justification is sufficient and maintained in accordance with DoD standards.
Find innovative solutions to emerging security issues and develop new processes as needed in support of a cutting-edge technology program.
Conduct internal self-assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Support government and customer audits and inspections and assist with customer and program security assessments.
Develop or review specifications for design or construction of security systems
Interpret and implement security classification guidance, SOW/PWS and DD254's.
Develop and administer security education consistent with DoD and customer requirements and timelines.
Maintain, support classified material accountability and records, as required.
Establish security requirements for new facility to include processes and procedures consistent with LinQuest existing policies and procedures and customer requirements.
Develop/maintain accreditation paperwork to include PPP's, FFC, EAP, SOP etc.
Serve as a trusted agent for Common Access Card
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
2+ yrs serving as an Area Security Representative (or similar position)
Knowledge of common DoD security software (DISS, JADE, etc)
Possess knowledge of ICD 705 and DoDM 5105.21, Volume 2 relevant to SCIF and SAPF construction, accreditation, and maintenance.

Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
Security+ Certification
Previous experience with Air Force programs
Experience with security processes within a SCIF/SAPF
Familiarity with Atlasian suite of collaboration tools
