The ROTC Program Coordinator manages calendars and specific events. In addition, the Program Coordinator oversees the department annual budget and supervises work study students. Important elements of the position include: confidentiality, time sensitivity, attention to detail, dependability and commitment to the Army ROTC program.
Liaise with registrars and university administrators at Siena College, SUNY-Albany, St. Rose, Skidmore, and Union College
Schedule Key Leader Engagements (KLE) with Mission Partners to include cross-town colleges, NYNG, USAR, and Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs)
Support all social or ceremonial events to include the Branch Night, Contracting Ceremonies, Military Ball, and Commissioning Ceremonies
Assist in the management of the ROTC Program's Battle Rhythm and the maintain the Programs calendars
Provide administrative support to all ROTC Cadre, including but not limited to following up on Cadet administrative requirements.
Manage the ROTC program's university provided operating budget and maintain office inventory and order office supplies (including all card stock for invitations and awards)
Track and liaise with Campus Police/Public Safety or College Deans of Students on all individual Cadet Disciplinary Reports
Assist in the management of the Siena College Army ROTC Websites (Office and Program) ensuring content is relevant and accurate
Provide Financial Readiness Training (FRT) or coordinate for FRT with a certified financial advisor
Be prepared to Supervise and mentor 5 Work Study Students (WSS) or Gold Bar Recruiters (GBRs)
Handle all travel requests for faculty and students and process travel expense
Provide support and problem-solving assistance to students, faculty, and administrators in the ROTC department
Salary: $17.24 per hour

Job Requirements:
An Associate's degree and a minimum of three years administrative support experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, are required. The desired candidate will have excellent interpersonal and strong organizational skills, a pleasant demeanor, and a professional approach to dealing with students, staff, and visitors of Siena College and its partnership schools. In addition, this position will support multiple office staff, have basic familiarity with social media applications and knowledge of the United States Army. The candidate should also possess the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse backgrounds. Banner experience is preferred. Candidates will be required to obtain a military security clearance.
A background screening will be required.
