Stakeholder Engineer
Dubai, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Stakeholder Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to perform a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Can produce utilities drawings and cross sections.
- Can use these software Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Utilities.
- Aware of the authorities standards and requirements.
- Monitor progress of drawings and documentation for NOCs.
- Coordination with the Client dealings (both internal and external) and liaise with all government offices and service authorities in UAE for all technical queries and issues.
- Track utilities NOCs and ensure all of them are completed on time.
- Liaise with all relevant Agencies / Authorities and Client team to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs.
- Attend co-ordination meetings and provide support during NOC process to the design team.
- Participate in project design meetings and recommend improvements if needed.
- Coordinate and collect information from relevant Agencies, third party consultants and contractors for all technical queries and issues, to prepare weekly and monthly reports, as well as design drawings for management and clients.
- Attend project meetings and follow-up with outstanding tasks.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Having 5-7 years of relevant work experience in NOC role preferably in infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience in dealing and liaising with government authorities in Dubai and Northern Emirates, and their NOC system.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering would be preferred, with 5-7 years of related work experience.
- Must have knowledge and experience in dealing with the approval process for infrastructure and buildings projects with the specific statutory authority/stakeholder in Dubai Emirates.
- Fluency in written and verbal communication (English and Arabic)
- Strong leadership qualities and a track record of delivery.
- Proven experience in innovation and process optimization
- Good time management ability and competence in prioritizing tasks and workload.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office software. Ability to use Auto-CAD preferable
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders
- Candidate should ideally have UAE driver's license.
