Job Description:
Saudi Arabia Parsons Limited (SAPL) have a new requirement for a Principal Project Manager at the Yanbu Industrial City Program (YIC) based in the Project Management Department.
YIC, in the city of Yanbu, is based on the West (Red Sea) Coast of KSA. Yanbu is a great location – a medium sized and developed City offering good facilities outside of the workplace. SAPL have been involved at YIC for over 45 years and continue to partner with the Saudi Royal Commission in the development of the city.
Following SAPL and the Royal Commission’s planning of resources over the next two years and beyond, we will be increasing the size of the overall Program Team including the PM Department. The Principal Project Manager is a key position that provides direction and project management for medium and largescale projects and is responsible for planning, programming, coordination, scope management and overall implementation of the project to meet project goals and objectives.
The role will report directly to the Project Management Department Manager and will receive further supervision from the Projects Planning Section Lead in planning and defining the project and devise methods to accomplish and deliver the goals in line with client objectives, contract terms, and stakeholder requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
Interface with Master Planning, Engineering, Procurement, F&B, Network Operators, and all other stakeholders, to define the technical design basis, schedule, development Implementation plan, lead efforts, of RFP development, tender bidding, and award, and manage 1he overall Pre-Award RFP development process and Stakeholders Management, up to and including Award of the project.
Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings in support of client
Oversee the establishment of the Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
A minimum of 10 years of experience professional / post graduate experience in Project Management with at least 5 years managing the design and construction of a portfolio of capital projects.
Proven ability to perform within a management capacity
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering / Construction Management (or related)
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Professional Registration (PE or PMP).
Proven ability to perform within a management capacity
Candidate must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project
