Job Description:
Service Asset Configuration Manager (SACM)
Responsibilities:
Accountable for ensuring SACM is delivered in line with the defined policy, processes, and procedures.
Identify process improvements and resolve processes with stakeholders
Investigate root cause analysis to continuously improve data accuracy.
Prepare and share reports on CMDB statistical information and the delivery of Dashboards.
Ensure Configuration Items (Cis) are identified, baselined, and maintained and changes to them are controlled.
Manage and account for assets by protecting the integrity of CIs.
Maintain accurate configuration information on all Configuration item services.
Create and maintain asset purchase requirements with the use of Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
Coordinate with the Project Support facility (PSF) for incoming and outgoing configuration items through Remedy.
Maintain the approved hardware/software list for all authorized software and hardware.
Implement and maintain a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) that contains details of the CIs throughout their life cycle and that provides accurate information to support all the other service management processes.
Develop and control a naming convention process for hardware on the operational networks.
Schedule audits against the CMDB to verify the data remains current and accurate (CMDB Reconciliation).
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related field
3-5 years of IT Asset Management and Configuration Management experience.
Experience in working with inventory discovery tools and infrastructure management tools used to provide asset inventory.
General understanding of procurement, delivery, and governance of IT services
Must have quality documentation and report writing ability and experience (general MS Office Suite skills).
Must have general management skills (Time management and Communication Skills)
3-5 years of experience managing meetings and facilitation skills
3-5 years of excellent documentation and report writing abilities and experience
3-5 years of experience working in a process driven organization, preferably an ITIL-aligned Service Management organization
Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Flexible and able to cope with fast-paced moving environment.
Excellent communications and relationship management skills including cross-functional IT teams
TS/SCI clearance required
Preferred:
ITIL® V4 certified

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
