The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Senior Cloud Services Engineer to support the mission objectives and needs of the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Tampa, FL. The position is contingent upon award of the USSOCOM Enterprise Development, Application and Training (EDAT) contract.
Responsibilities:
The Cloud Services Engineer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customer's technical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.
Additional responsibilities include:
Maintaining security requirements for operation of systems.
Consistent maintenance and improvement of existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies, authentication, search, etc.)
Will maintain System in AWS environment using EC2, S3, Load Balancer, RDS, and IAM
Manage and maintenance of AWS WorkSpaces.
Automate and optimize service deployments.
Actively participating in technical requirements-gathering process in conjunction with assigned project managers.
Execute the design and implementation of application features.
Writing and producing detailed documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
MA/MS and 10+ years relevant experience -or- BA/BS and 12+ years relevant experience.
Current DoD 8140 - IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services
Strong Troubleshooting skills at the Tier 1-3 level
Angular frontend framework; UI/UX design
Microservice-based backend architecture; integrating with COTS/FOSS software REST APIs
CI/CD pipeline implementation, ideally with GitLab
Desired:
Master's degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Strong understanding of cloud APIs and interaction with the AWS/CLI
Experience working with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, or Java)
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Markdown, and portal development
Database experience
Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl
Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Prior experience supporting USSOCOM

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
