Lockheed Martin Space (LMS) is seeking a Classified Cyber Security Associate Manager to lead a team of cybersecurity professionals supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. This position is located at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL and supports operations at locations around the United States. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining daily cybersecurity operations, information system authorizations (e.g., ATOs, ATCs, etc.), and compliance enforcement of cybersecurity requirements for both classified and unclassified information systems. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands excellent customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
What you will be doing
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Ensure compliance to governing documents and security policies and assist in regulatory periodic assessments.
Assessing and mitigating system security risks throughout the system lifecycle.
Overseeing classified and unclassified system accreditations and compliance activities for various LMS FBM contracts.
Develops cybersecurity risk assessments by analyzing system-level threats and vulnerabilities, calculating their likelihood of occurrence, determining applicable mitigating factors and the effectiveness of the applied countermeasures.
Performs cybersecurity system requirements analysis to include initial allocation, interpretation, decomposition and validation by translating company, DoD, and Navy policy and guidance into system level requirements.
Determines, documents and briefs risk vs. cost trade off analysis to customer and company management regarding the results of security requirements validation, identify gaps in policy and/or procedures, and categorizes the expected effort required for remediation and compliance.
Establishes system security designs and provides subject matter expertise for the generation and execution of computer and network security assessments/validations.
Analyzes, interprets, and documents the results of the assessments for compliance with the applicable cybersecurity guiding documents.
Leading teams working on system authorization and operations and maintenance of classified and unclassified systems.
Balance competing priorities amongst multiple customers and programs.
Basic Qualifications:
DoD Final Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to start and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
Possess DoD 8140/8570 certification for IAM Level III (i.e. CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO)
Experience leveraging security tools such as Splunk
Technical knowledge of Windows clients and servers
Technical knowledge of UNIX/Linux
Experience with DISA STIGs and system remediation
Experience with system certification, auditing, and continuous monitoring activities
Desired Skills:
Experience with system authorization under U.S. Navy Ordnance Document (OD) 68340
Experience with U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Program (SSP)
Working Knowledge of DoD Budget Process
Experience managing / mentoring small teams handling system authorization
Excellent communications skills
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
