Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) Manager" is responsible for overseeing and managing planned disruptions to critical services within an organization, ensuring that any planned outages are properly communicated, coordinated, and executed with minimal impact on operations, while adhering to established procedures and approvals for service interruptions.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and approving ASI requests: Evaluating the need for planned service interruptions, assessing the potential impact on users, and authorizing ASIs based on established criteria.
Coordinating with stakeholders: Communicating planned outages to relevant teams and departments, including IT operations, service owners, and end users, to ensure awareness and preparedness.
Impact analysis: Assessing the potential impact of an ASI on business operations, including identifying critical systems and dependencies that may be affected.
Scheduling and timing optimization: Working with technical teams to schedule ASIs during periods of minimal disruption, considering maintenance windows and user activity patterns.
Change management: Ensuring that all changes related to an ASI are properly documented and managed through change management processes.
Communication and reporting: Providing clear and timely updates on planned service interruptions to stakeholders, including status updates and post-incident reports.
Risk mitigation: Identifying potential risks associated with ASIs and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruption.
Compliance with policies: Ensuring that all ASI activities adhere to established company policies and regulatory requirements.
The likely salary range for this position is $88,863 - $120,226. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
