This position is for a Systems Engineer Lead to support training systems development. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. Positions are located in East Orlando, FL at the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Training and Logistics (TLS), Lake Underhill facility. The Work
As a Systems Engineer Lead, you will:
Lead the Program Systems Engineering team and work with the sub-discipline architects in establishing a highly customized functional and physical system design and architecture
Perform system architecture analysis using tools like Rhapsody and Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs.
Define the MBSE strategy to align with the current scope and the future business capture opportunities and will marshal resources across the program's Engineering & Technology organization to transition the product line
Support the Configuration Design Management (CDM) team in the design release streams across the product line.
Work with a team of system engineers and/or interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and design the system functional, logical, and behavioral architecture using MBSE tools and DOORS or DOORS NEXT; ensuring flow-down to lower level specifications, and compliance throughout the design
Be a member of Integrated Product Team responsible for the scope and associated cost and schedule. Interface with cross functional teams and customer on regular basis to effectively execute the scope.
Have the ability to travel domestically (up to 30% travel)

This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 12 or more years of professional experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams through major technical reviews throughout the acquisition lifecycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
Extensive Experience applying System Engineering processes in an Agile environment.
Leveraged Agile tenets in the execution of the development of software intensive systems, inclusive of driving development of Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware, and Test Engineering work products
Strong Proficiency applying System Modeling Languages and frameworks (SysML, UML, DODAF, UPDM, or similar language) and demonstrated experience with Cameo.
History of Configuration Management and Data Management (CDM) control
Prior customer engagement experiences requiring communication of technical concepts to external stakeholders
Due to the Government Security clearance requirement, U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
Desired Skills:
Practical experience controlling and evolving variations and export controlled software and hardware baselines using digital controls (i.e. Cameo, 3DS, GIT, Docker)
Proficiency generating documentation such as Interface Control Documents from model based content or software baselines
Familiarity with real time simulation architecture design, development, and sell off.
Capture Experience including authoring proposals and generating Basis of Estimates
Prior experience in the development, integration, and deployment of flight training systems
Product design experience in the context of modular open systems architectures (e.g. SOA)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
