Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst to be part of the Program Management Office. This role is to support the upcoming Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) Task Order (TO). The Data analyst will focus on analyzing complex datasets to extract insights that drive decision making, improve operational efficiency, and support mission critical objectives. The LOGIX TO will support the JADC2 goal to deliver a relevant information advantage with ISR operations and logistics support. To support continued progress and sustainment of the JADC2 Strategy, the LOGIX TO support the accelerated application of technological solutions by analyzing new and emerging technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, technologies, capabilities, platforms, equipment, and associated subordinate and supporting systems used to execute their missions.
In this role, you will work closely program team including engineers, project managers and the mission partners to ensure accurate and actionable date insights aligned with their mission goals. Duties may include research and analysis, formulating and implementing process improvements, and coordinating with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
What You Will Do
Data Collection and Management - Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity; Work the data engineering teams to establish and maintain data pipelines, ensuring timely data availability, maintain databases, data warehouses and data integration systems to support seamless data access and analysis.
Data Analysis and Interpretation - Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses on mission critical datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies; Analyze operational and performance data to support mission objectives, highlight potential inefficiencies and off data driven recommendations.
Reporting and Visualization - Design and generate detailed reports and dash boards to convey data insights to stakeholders; Use data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI to create interactive, clear visualizations that support strategic and tactical decision making.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation - Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data analysis processes, tools, and techniques; Lead initiatives to improve data accessibility, usability and over analytical capabilities for the mission partner.
What We Are Looking For
3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in data analytics with focus on support federal government or DoD projects?
Proficiently in data analysis and visualization tools
Strong statistical and analytical skills, with experience in applying quantitative methods to real-world challenges.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical audiences?.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
Clearance: Possess and maintains a Secret clearance.
Certifications in data analytics, data science or related areas
Experience with DoD data management platforms and tools.
Prior experience supporting a multi-tenant, AAS Federal contract?.
