Job Description:
Generate a variety of Cognos reports for Material Management.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members and readily volunteer to assist in completing team tasks.
Manage quarterly spares audits within defined schedules.
Communicate with the Harris Field Services Group (FSG) to manage parts/equipment issues and discrepancies.
Ship equipment utilizing Harris' Parts Inventory Tracking System (PITS) software and Shipment Handling and Integration Process (SHIP) tool to support customer requirements.
Manage scheduled MRs to ensure timely delivery of material to technicians in the field.
Manage RMAs to support proper material utilization and cost reduction strategies.
May be required to support operations during off-hours and overtime.
Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments.
Responsibilities to create Engineering Material Request (EMR's), material transfers and issuing material to specific projects, maintaining stock levels, monitoring inventory levels, and expediting orders and maintaining accurate records.
Performs a variety of general administrative tasks in such functional areas including, but not limited to, material management.
Communicates effectively with Engineering, Program Management, Configuration Management Procurement and Material Management.
Participate and/or lead projects/teams as assigned.
Verifies and maintains various databases for part number and/or structure accuracy.
Utilize MRP systems, PeopleSoft financial system
Generate material status reports to be uploaded for procurement requirements.
Process program receipts for drop ship material.
Ability to lift/move 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
Requires working knowledge of shipping solutions and Global Trade Compliance Regulations to support shipping demands.
Experience and in depth knowledge or material movement best practices to facilitate the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, and to reject substandard items when necessary.
Experience and ability to utilize MRP and PeopleSoft Financial systems.
Experience and ability to reference applicable regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
Ability to maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance

Associate degree and 2 years of equivalent experience in shipping/receiving or 6 years of relevant experience with a high school degree
Must be able to obtain an FAA Security Clearance
