Job Description
An Insight Global client is seeking a well-qualified candidate to perform as the Alternate Facility Security Officer (A/FSO) and Alternate Contractor Special Security Officer (A/CSSO) at its RTP, NC facility.
As the AFSO and ACSSO, the candidate will be a security focal point for addressing industrial and personnel security related matters with emphasis on problem-solving and customer interaction.
The candidate will assist the FSO/CSSO in development, implementation, updating, and monitoring of corporate security policies and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) requirements.
Assist the Government Security Services team with implementing and maintaining a highly effective security program built on Government and Corporate mentorship.
Manage classified program(s) overseeing the receipt, control, and accountability of classified information, ensuring all security measures are followed to protect sensitive data, and acting as the programs primary point of contact for classified matters within the organization; and ensure compliance with government regulations
Maintaining a high degree of organizational and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Work independently and partner with other functional organizations.
Interact with the Government Security Services team and program personnel in the management of assigned responsibilities.
Alternate with the FSO and CSSO team in performing security vulnerability assessments and self-inspections.
Provide briefings and facilitate various security trainings. Issue written guidance to Cisco Systems employees, its consultants, and subcontractors.
Solid grasp of Federal Investigative Standards, the clearance adjudication process, and adjudicative guidelines. Conduct prescreening interviews as the need arises.
Prepare and maintain official records auditable by US Government representatives.
This includes data reconciliation, onboarding and offboarding accesses and leading security indoctrinations and debriefings.
Handle the safeguarding of classified information in accordance with applicable government security requirements.
Perform citizenship validation and assist the FSO in supporting the required Federal Area Access Program.
Assist the FSO and CSSO in performing escorts of the secure spaces as needed.
Process personnel for security clearance investigations using relevant applications. Proven knowledge of DISS, NBIS, SWFT, eAPP and other security databases. Applicants with experience using Security Control is a plus.
Process incoming and outgoing Visit Requests.
Perform physical security inspections of various secure spaces.
Brief employees on their responsibilities for protecting, handling, transmitting, and storing National Security Information.
Assist Government Security Services team with the maintenance of standardized Standard Practice and Procedures (SPP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by DoD and other customers as required.
Perform administrative inquiries concerning adverse information and security incidents in line with company and government regulations.
Coordinate CUI responsibilities of assigned programs and assist organizational leads with CUI implementation.
Provide guidance and support regarding System Security Plan (SSP) lifecycle monitoring, audits, inspection support, briefings, A&A, and POA&M if required

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related area or equivalent experience (5+ years).
