Job description requirements :
This is a non-flying position. The Instructor Pilot serves as a TAFT instructor pilot for unit training and AH-64E tactical employment.
The IP will conduct readiness level progression, to include gunnery training strategy on IA aviators.
This pilot must have:
Skills required to conduct training on Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) planning,
Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) procedures and AH-64 tactical employment curriculum.
In addition, will conduct oral evaluations of all IA pilots in accordance with IAs training and proficiency requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Adhere to the company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Required Skills (additional):
Knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, and logistics.
Ability to communication both orally and written in English.
Ability to effectively work in coordination with staff and team members.
Ability to professionally communicate with the customer, on the company's behalf.
Education/Experience:
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Experience as an Aviation Tactical Operations Officer/Aviation Mission Survivability Officer.
The IP must have a minimum of 1500 total flight hours and 300 hours cumulative as an AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot.
Must be previously qualified as an AH-64D Instructor Pilot.
Must have experience as an IP at the company level.
Must be qualified in the AH-64Ev4.
Qualification on AH64Ev6 is highly desired.
Must have the knowledge to conduct training on Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) and Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) procedures for the AH-64E.
Previous Security Assistance Team experience is desired.
Previous Foreign Military Sales Experience as an IP, highly desired.
Previous experience as an aviation Master Gunner is desired.
